iSAM - SugarCRM for the mobile
We have been on the lookout for a SugarCRM mobile applicaiton that works for both the professional edition and the community edition of SugarCRM.
There have been a number of attempts by various organizations to create an applicaion that works well on IOS devices, but the team at iSAM have stepped up to the plate and hit a home run (in our opinion).
The good news is that iSAM is avaiable in 2 flavours. The "lite" version which gives you read-only access to your data, or you can pay for the full version which allows you to update records as well.
This handy little applicaiton is great for those of us that don't always have greate data coverage with our phones and ipads (which is usually the case in Australia, especially in rural centers). iSam is a full download and sync applicaiton meaning that you can access and update your data and everything is synced back to the server when you next connect.
Another great thing about this app is the good folks at iSAM have made this work off the generic sugar SOAP API. This means that you don't have to install any server side modules on your sugar instance to make this application work... it just works.
